The first AI-directed pharmaceutical spec commercial.
Something has shifted in filmmaking.
Generative tools have made it possible to direct a complete cinematic production — with characters, environments, emotional arcs, and editorial rhythm — from the editing chair. Not as an experiment. As a finished film.
Lumivex is that film.
Produced using the Production 2.0 methodology, Lumivex is a fully AI-directed pharmaceutical spec commercial built in Final Cut Pro using Google Veo 3.1, Adobe Firefly, and Photoshop compositing. Every frame was planned as a master still before motion was introduced. Every composite layer was generated in isolation and unified in post. Every cut was intentional and editorially justified.
Three acts. A complete emotional arc. A recurring visual anchor. A closing shot with narrative weight.

The Methodology Behind the Film
Lumivex was directed, not prompted.
Every technique applied in this production is documented in Generative Filmmaking & Production 2.0: A Director's Methodology for Controlling AI Cinema — a free white paper covering the Still-First Pipeline, the Pixel Allocation Theorem, the Reference Frame Formula, Kinetic Match Cutting, and 20 additional named methodologies developed through active production.
It is the only published work of its kind built from a completed film rather than theory.
This film is the production proof-of-concept for: Generative Filmmaking & Production 2.0: A Director's Methodology for Controlling AI Cinema DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.19151018 Full methodology, named frameworks, and production notes available at Zenodo. https://zenodo.org/records/19151018
